This is a wonderful experiance for visitors to slap ditches to catch fish, get those ingredients to make their own dishes, and at the same time, visitors can pick their own green and clean vegetables at the resort. You can also grill fish to eat at the tents in the bermese grape garden as you like.

Making folk cakes

You will see the resort’s very own folk cake making methods and experience creating those products yourself. The activity starts from 19:30 to 21:00, the group of guests will watch and experience making folk cakes at Muong Dinh Lodge, such as: Banh xeo, banh khot, banh hoi, etc.

Visitors walk from the resort to farmers’ fruit gardens and bat farm, on the way guests will visit a bamboo garden and then return to the garden path. Visitors will listen to stories of farmers, experience the work of layering and seeding.

If you are planning team building for your company, Mương Đình Lodge has pick-your-own and all-in programmes for you: a room surrounded by green garden, flowers, ponds and canals; local meals in the dining house with its windy river view; a visit to the home of the woman with the most goats in Hậu Giang; photographs in the wide rice fields; three-plank sampan races on the canals; a contest wading the ditch for snails and fish, river bathing or fishing; and camping in the fruit garden with a fire and singing. Your part is to choose the activities and write to us.

Visiting the fruit gardens

Visiting the fruit garden of all kinds: Ha Chau berry, different kinds of burmese grapes, mangosteen, jackfruit, durian, star apple, etc. Visitors will be guided by a local guide to visit the fruit gardens of all kinds (depending on each season), free to eat at the garden and take home (charged per kilogram).

Our lodge lies in quiet countryside, so the road in is a little longer than to other places — but whether you stay the night or come only for the day, you are welcome. We also run a full day programme with eating and drinking, sightseeing and hands-on experiences, and rest, all inside the one day.

Frog hunting at night: The activity starts from 18:00 to 19:00, You will be equipped with tools, costumes and go hunting in the evening with the people, experiencing the daily activities of the people here at night.
The singing programme: Traditional don ca tai tu, gala night music, children sing karaoke (presented by a 3-year-old child who is not fluent but has a passion for singing).
